Huawei eKit AP362E Wi-Fi 6 Dual-Radio Smart Antenna Managed PoE Settled/Ceiling Access Point is intended to deliver stable and fast wireless coverage to offices, classrooms, and other indoor environments. It supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, capable of reaching a device rate of up to 2.975 Gbps. It has an optimum signal distance of 20 meters, guaranteeing it has stable performance for high-density user conditions.
The AP362E features double radios with 2x2 MIMO on both frequency bands. The radio on the 2.4 GHz frequency operates at a maximum 40 MHz channel bandwidth, while the 5 GHz radio can support up to 160 MHz for high-speed data connections. The transmit maximum power is up to 23 dBm combined in both frequencies. Smart antennas for coverage are integrated, featuring gains of 4 dBi per chain on 2.4 GHz and 5 dBi per chain on 5 GHz. This access port has a maximum of 128 access users; 100 is a suggested number for optimal performance. It has one GE RJ45 auto-sensing (10M/100M/1000M) port for cabled devices. It is powered through 802.3af PoE, and the maximum consumption is 9.4 W.
AP362E is a compact device measuring 180 mm x 35 mm and weighing 0.45 kg without packaging. The packaging measures 200 mm x 231 mm x 61 mm with a total weight of 0.75 kg. It can be mounted on solid walls, gypsum boards, T-rails, beams, or threaded rods using wall or ceiling mounting. The device can operate continuously at temperatures from 0°C to 40°C and from 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity.
